Fair Usage Policy

This policy contains guidelines you must follow when accessing the LICENSOR Web Portal to access the Services to ensure all users have a consistently high-quality experience.

Why have a Fair Usage Policy?

Multiple users will be accessing the Services on a concurrent basis via the LICENSOR Web Portal and if a user places very high demand on the Services it is possible that this will impact the experience of other users of the Services. This policy therefore seeks to manage inappropriate usage of the LICENSOR Web Portal and the Services to ensure that they can be used fairly by all users. The policy is designed to ensure that we are able to provide the most effective service for all our users.

How we expect our users to use the Pathogena Web Portal and access the Services in a fair way

Users will be issued ‘credits’ to use the system by the LICENSOR. Users requiring additional credits can contact the LICENSOR and request more credits. Prior to those credits being granted the LICENSOR may request the user provide feedback on the service via email or a survey, or participate in a feedback call. Through the credit system the LICENSOR aims to ensure the system is available to all, and one user does not make unreasonable high demand on the system.

What usage do we consider not fair usage?

A user trying to circumvent the system by creating multiple accounts using different email addresses, or trying to circumvent the credit system in any other way.

Policy monitoring

We monitor usage on a continuous basis. If any user generates exceptionally high usage or otherwise acts in contravention of this policy, we reserve the right to restrict the volume of usage available to such a user so as to protect other user’s usage.

We will communicate with any user who contravenes this policy to establish what is driving such usage and how this usage could be modified to the benefit of all. If such usage continues to contravene this policy we reserve the right to terminate the Agreement between us relating to your use of the Pathogena Web Portal in accordance with clause 5 in the EULA.
